My Wildlife
I'm a Black Wildlife Photographer from BedSty Brooklyn. Pigeons were my spark into wildlife this is my story.
The pigeon is the world's oldest domesticated bird, yet millions of wild pigeons live with us on our city streets mostly unnoticed.
As an urban dweller, I appreciate the wild (yet not wild) bird that is part of my urban landscape. As a child growing up in BedSty, I always looked at them as rats with wings. Growing up, I would even run through a feeding flock to make them fly as a kid.
It wasn't until I had the opportunity to assist on my first National Geographic Magazine assignment did I got to know these amazing animals. The experience fundamentally changed my understanding and my photography path.
