“Wildlife & Nature” in the frame
This provocative project underlines the domination of man over nature: "framed", "caged", absent of animal vitality, but nevertheless wildly present, because even if its horizons are limited, it tends to show itself to the viewer through an artificial space in messy way.
(tradotto con google). This provocative project underlines the domination of man over nature: "framed", "caged", absent of animal vitality, but nevertheless wildly present, because even if its horizons are limited, it tends to show itself to the viewer through an artificial space in messy way. The Pakistani window, shattered following an earthquake (like the rest of the walls of the house) symbolizes the reconquest of nature itself over the works of man. The twelve shots are arranged as if the hours of light of a day were timed, and come from many parts of the world, as a single land. It is therefore more a conceptual project than anything else.
The photos were taken in different years, sometimes retouched but without distorting them (no additions or deletions, if anything, some slight straightening, transformed into gray scales and finished by contrasting what little needed), and with occasional cameras, with a digital one, more often with the mobile phone.
