Kgalagadi Transfrontier park: a beauty of nature to be protected.

3 continents, 1 desert and millions of hectares of survival.

It is winter in this part of the world. We are in South Africa. The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is located in the desert. Its 38,000 kmĀ² touches Namibia, Botswana and South Africa. The park is characterized by vast arid landscapes with red dunes, sparse vegetation and thorny camel trees. During the dry season the animals tend to gather in river beds and artificial water holes. Herds of Gemsbok, Springbok, Eland and Blue Wildebeest follow the seasons, in close contact with the last 400 black mane lions. Leopards, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and many other animals fight every day to survive.
