Bearing Witness

For the past 10 years I have devoted countless hours in the forests of the upper mid-western U.S. photographing black bears. These wonderful and intelligent creatures have taught me more than I could ever imagine . Spending so many months each year in the forests with Black bears I have been gifted many opportunities to witness and capture some magical moments most humans could hardly imagine. Bears have changed my perspectives on life, I can not imagine living in a world without bears .
