Heron landing on a branch at sunset just after fishing

My neighborhood lakes are home to ducks and nesting Great Blue Herons. I walk in the evenings after work, often during that hour when the light is golden. I captured this heron coming in for a landing on a branch, the feathers of its wing creating shadows across its face and its feet muddy after just leaving the lake where it had been fishing for its dinner. The "pose" brought to mind the 1970s-era disco song "Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting" and made me smile.
