Great Horned Owl chicks in the nest

Friends directed me to the nest of a Great Horned Owl with two chicks. Staying a safe and respectful distance away, I was able to photograph these two chicks thanks to an 800mm lens. I waited, patiently watching as they watched me back. Near dusk, as they were just starting to wake up for the evening I was able to catch them yawning.
