Two elephant herd in single file

Late morning in the Amboseli National Part, two herds of elephants in perfect single line were crossing the swamp in front of us

In the late morning we spot two elephant families at the edge of one of the many ponds in Amboseli National Park.

We stopped and watched them when they finally entered the water and in perfect single file they undertook the crossing.

Seeing the direction they were taking, we moved to another spot with our jeep in order to be able to observe them as they were coming towards us.

The first herd turned to the right while the second herd in perfect single file was following them.
Luckily there were some clouds in the sky that were making the blue sky less monotonous.

A truly exceptional moment of meditation seeing these large pachyderms moving quietly and in a very orderly way.

Despite years of traveling in Africa and in many national parks, this was a unique and unforgettable moment.
