Sunset elephant

An lonely and relaxed elephant on Lake Kariba is having his sundowner apetizeri

After an afternoon of navigating on Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe, we caught a glimpse of an elephant on a hill in front of us.

With our guide we were able to move with the boat so that we could frame the sunset just behind the elephant.

Of all the shots, this is the best being able to see all the details of a swarm of midges in addition to the fuzz under the belly that would not have been seen if the sun had been centered between the legs.
