Holy Land

A territory, its signs, people. A journey in August 2023 between Israel and Palestine becomes an opportunity to look with fresh eyes at a place which is, since ages, a scenario of cultures, religions and human stories at the same time similar and different. This landscape is observed by calling it in the only way that holds all its aspects together: Holy Land. Its holiness is indeed the common characteristic shared by the populations who have inhabited, live in and will inhabit it. Hence, what seems to divide becomes a final common point to look at, in order to build a possible unity. What does it mean to tell a story? First of all, to choose a point of view. In this case, in a place where hatred and destruction seem to be the only winners in the tensions between Hamas and Palestine, this visual narrative chooses to tell a positive story, which looks at everything that has traversed history and reaches the present, bringing a certain echo of eternity to the human journey on this earth.
