Seal Hunting

Seal hunting is part of the Inuit tradition going back thousands of years

Today it is no longer allowed to hunt commercially, but only for self-sufficiency. For the everyday life of a Greenlandic family as well as for the national culture, hunting is of elementary importance. Because of climate change, however, this harmonious world is threatening to break apart. To reinforce the impression of arctic life, I combined nature with reportage photos in a novel way.
