Becoming a Tree

The story of Sara and Stefano takes us far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, bringing us closer to the beauty and harmony of nature. In an increasingly connected and technological world, they have made the opposite choice: leave their urban life behind and immerse themselves in the silence of a forest. Their new home is a stone house dating back to the late 1800s, surrounded by hectares of trees. Sara and Stefano's life is rooted in sustainability and aims for self-sufficiency. Driven by determination and adventurous spirit, they draw from what the forest has to offer to lead a new life in respect of nature and its balances.

This project has allowed me to remember that it is still possible to take a step back in time; letting myself be carried away by the essential nature of the forest, I understood how many aspects of my daily life were actually superfluous and that it is possible to lead a lifestyle with minimal impact on the environment.
