Young Roots: back to old trades

In a fast-paced society that looks to the future and sees us increasingly enslaved by big blue-light screens, more and more young people are deciding to get back in touch with nature. Complicated by precariousness and working conditions, more and more young people are returning to the trades of the land and handicrafts, taking over family businesses or working alongside old craftsmen to learn their trade. Farms and craft workshops are coming back to life thanks to hi-tech entrepreneurs who exploit new technologies and invest in eco-sustainability and social issues. Young farmers are once again becoming farmers and artisans with a new perspective. Young roots was born from the meeting of two young farmers, brothers who redeemed the old family farm to bring it back to life. The current project involves the story of several protagonists, all under 35, scattered around Italy.
