This project seeks to explore the uneasy relationship between nature and urban spaces particularly the increase of artificial representations of nature which prioritise aesthetics over reality.

These images are part of an ongoing project started this year in Lisbon. The project seeks to explore the uneasy relationship between humans and nature in the urban environment and the growing rise of artificial plants and flowers to create an aesthetically pleasing but unnatural environment. This project aims to highlight that although climate change and environmental protection are often discussed in terms of the bigger picture, attention also has to be paid to the smaller daily interactions and decisions humans make within our urban spaces.
