Hippie 2.0, Flower tribe in 2020s

I explore human-nature connections within the modern Swiss hippie community, emphasizing awareness, co-creation, and sustainability. It portrays authentic community life through vivid, nature-inspired portraits, aiming to share these principles globally, fostering harmony and positive environmental impact.

I explore relations between humans and nature, between people, and between the individual and subconsciousness. The hippie community in Switzerland has been an unexpected and healing experience for me. I feel connected to them through humanistic and caring relationships with nature and the Earth, among people in the community, and with one's inner self. The fundamental principles of the community remain the same as they were in the 70s: awareness and consciousness, presence and co-creation, respect and consent, self-responsibility and mindfulness, sustainability, and a positive footprint. I aim to share these values with a wider audience through my project. I believe it is one of the ways to live and survive in the face of various crises: economic and political turmoil, wars raging everywhere, overwhelming consumption, food and water shortages, and the destruction of ecosystems due to Anthropocene issues, among many other problems. I think embracing a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, as the hippies are doing, is one of the paths to greater happiness, leaving fewer traces, finding inner peace, and living in harmony with the Earth.
