Cultivating Differences is Resistance!

Traces is an ongoing project. A Photographic Diary on Agriculture in Europe started in 2020 since due to the pandemic I left my job at school as a darkroom teacher. Between 2021 and 2022 I first went to work in the vineyards in France then I attended a European Course in Design in Permaculture in Kosovo and meanwhile I worked in small gardens in Italy and in greenhouses in Greece. Doing the essential means never ceasing to look: the conditions of the Earth and this time only to collect traces, moments at the beginning or at the end of a hard day's work, moments of peace or solitude and sadness and others, made of gestures full of stories and associate them with books and sentences, that I read in this period, with titles and songs that have casually accompanied me. Because Cultivating Differences is Resistance!
I have organized the material already collected in these three years in a small self-produced fanzine and I am preparing the next ones in Switzerland, Spain and Romania, trying to follow different types of collections and situations. In addition to working in more depth on the texts to be matched.
