We have all seen thousands of pictures from New York and yet, there is probably no way of showing New York "as it really is", especially not in a single picture. The people who came to New York so long ago were dreamers, seeking happiness and a better life, the people who come to New York today are the same. They are dreamers, too, chasing the American dream that probably has never been more than a great but vague and blurry collective idea.
