“Anima Incartada. (from Sardinian / Logudorese, soul sold to the devil)
"Nature is not a place to visit. It is our home", says Gary Snyder, poet and environmentalist of our century, one of the pioneers of ecopoetry.
For us Sardinians, Sardinia is our home, our Soul and us as the best guests we have opened the door to the multinationals selling to them from north to south, thousands of hectares of our land.
Progress is known to bring with it in addition to the innumerable advantages, the ever greater destruction of an indispensable, but not inexhaustible asset, such as nature is.
Faced with this devastation and anger with the feeling of powerlessness, the desire to document what is happening giving voice to the nature itself , showing the wounds and lacerations inflicted on trees, waterways, seas and air and it is from here that the project comes to life:
Anima Incartada, from the Sardinian Anima Sold to the devil,
in this first part sees the areas of Sarroch (Petrochemical plant), Macchiareddu (Chemical Industry), Furtei (Ex gold mine), Sulcis / Iglesiente (Mining activity) and Teulada (Poligono Nato). as protagonists.
In the second part, still under study, it aims to give voice to all the contaminated sites of Sardinia.

"The remedy is in us," said the old woman. " You must have heart, nothing else. Grazia Deledda
