In 2012 I was invited in Rio de Janeiro from the school Estação Primeira de Mangueira or simply Mangueira, which is one of the strongest competitors in the annual Rio Carnival samba competition, to be with them for few days and document some of the preparation of the costume and be present doing the drumming rehearsal.
