I am based in London and I bought a Swiss day travel pass in January 2019. I wanted to get the most out of it and dragged my wife out of bed at 4am in the morning. I was surprised to see how organised the Swiss rail network is and most importantly the excellent customer service. My primary aim was to visit the Landwasser viaduct in Filisur, which claimed many lives during its construction. We then continued our journey on the Rhaetian Railway, which is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites, to St Moritz.
