A cry of Life in Gaza

A reportage about youth struggling to live up to their dreams

About 75% of Gaza's population is under the age of 25. Young people born in a strip cut out of the world, depending on Israel, denied of the freedom of movement. They have experience war and hardship but they did not lost their dreams of a better life. Some people found in sport activities a way not to think about pain and sorrow. Some of them have been injured during the great march of return, other during the shelling of the Israeli army in the last decades. Their stories are deeply related with the moment of greatest pain which happened in the strip but their determination towards achieving their goals is an inspiration for their friends and families who found in them light and courage to deal with an uncertain future.
