The young face of Sri Lanka

With the hope that their eyes will continue to be the same.

The idea of this project came to my mind during the trip back from Sri Lanka.
The trip was unfortunately affected by the tragic events of the Easter 2019 bombing attack in Colombo.
Those images have been recorder few days earlier and are aimed to honor a Country that suffered and still suffer, without obvious reasons.
In the new year celebration ,when the sun in perpendicular to the earth´s surface, the faces of those children only communicate proudness, beauty and hope!
I´m proud of having been part of their celebration games. When fixing their expression of wonder and astonishment for simple things, I hoped that we can still experience it on our children.
