Gay Pride 2019 - Rome (Italy)

Rome June 2019. I went to the Gay Pride because I thought it was a good opportunity to practise street-photography and with the intention of making a specific black and white. But when I started shooting, at first with a certain rigidity, I found myself overwhelmed by a crowd in celebration, in a triumph of colors, smiles, music. This reportage has the purpose of describing not the excesses that media usually cover, but the partecipation of men, women, families with children, students, on the street for everybody’s rights no one escluded, regardless of gender or sexual orientation, in full armony.
