Good Friday

I intended this project as a continuos flow of images narrating the Good Friday.
I'm an Italian amateur photographer and here, in South Italy, Good Friday is an event deeply felt by the entire community. In Calitri, my hometown, Via Crucis runs through the narrow alleys of the old village, destroyed by the devastating heartquake of 1980. This procession reaches to the top of a hill, Mount Calvary, climbing an incredibly steep staircase. When you reach the top you're out of breath, the same feeling of Jesus dragging the cross where he will be crucified. I hope that with these pictures you can deeply understand how much suffering and passion you feel when you're there.
