Taking care

These photos have been taken in Bari at the famous Puglia Pride 2017.

They are simple images as it is their implied message.

Hugs, smiles, friends, children, family: the desire to welcome with joy and to take care of the fragilities with strength, while supporting others and within them sharing happy moments.

Through our awareness and appreciation of the responsible choice to live a happy life freely, and barefoot, gracefully in traffic: the adversity of conquering simple things such as sincere friendships, the love of a couple, personal work fulfilment, serenity and solidity; creating around us a healthy supporting community and a civil human progress.

We must not be subjective to the other’s negative judgment, but accept it as a difficulty that enables the other to perceive what is different as a threat, and not as a resource.

The two overweight fishermen with their faces, one burned by the sun, and the other pale, are "perplexed” observers, as opposed to the two consciously tanned men.

We are often addicted to be accepted by the others in order to live happily, denying the right to what real happiness is, the conquest of simple things by overcoming the adversities.

However, it is only the reflection of our insecurity, which identifies itself with the binomial different-wrong and not different-unique.

We are all different and unique.

Recognizing our diversity as uniqueness and committing ourselves to live for it and therefore to share it. Be up to your uniqueness.
