The Dallapè piano accordion factory, a reportage in the past

It is almost 10 years since the Dallapè piano accordion factory ceased the production of the world renewed instruments.

Since these days the factory has been closed and nothing changed.

Nowadays it is a sort of frozen place, waiting to be visited and appreciated. The owners are working to make it like a live museum but time and money are required and a project is needed.

The set of images aims to record the present lay out and situation in order to allow virtual visits and make the site enjoyable even if it cannot be visited and might be useful to rebuilt the set up after the required renovation works.

Dallapè instruments during the last century and in the early years of the present one were sold all over the globe in different shapes and finishing. The factory was producing all the required components in its premises and the resulting sounds was one of the distinctive elements in the competitive game with the other producers.
