Agboboshie, daily life in a dump

Agbobloshie is the name of a district on the Korle Lagoon of the Odaw River, near the center of Accra in Ghana.

It is the center of a legal and illegal exportation network of electronic waste.

Daily life in this place means to be exposed to a continue pollution produced from burnt plastic day and night, and life expectancy is very low.

In this area are living about 40.000 inhabitants, most of them from rural part of Ghana of northern region.

Their trade is to find metal scrap and electronic parts to sell at market.

This is one of the most polluted areas in the world.
