Pig slaughter – in between Lake Como mountains – Lands of Nowhere, so close to the modern and vibrant city of Milan and at the same time so far away.

The butcher, the dog, the family: a longtime tradition that soon will disappear.

The crude act is the contrast of the strong bond people have in their traditions and to the tough and raw area.

An animal bred with love, fed with picked horse chestnuts and boiled potatoes, sacrificed to the "family" not without tears and sadness... This is the land I am from, the dynamics I experienced.
