MADAGASIKARA

This photo-reportage was taken in a Malagasy village on the way to Antsirabe. Every element captured in the photos, from shades to frames, suggests a reality that is different and far from ours. The atmosphere emerging from these photographs is almost surreal and seeks to open eyes and minds of the viewer by transporting them, away from their present, to a different dimension. A dimension where, challenged by harsh conditions, human beings demonstrate industriousness through the manufacture and trade of goods of the first necessity.
