ETICO!

“ALLEVAMENTO ETICO significa crescere gli animali nel rispetto delle loro abitudini etologiche, evitandone sofferenze ingiustificate”. La mia ricerca nasce dalla voglia di mostrare cosa c’è oltre gli allevamenti intensivi, spesso nient’altro che lager, di cui ormai abbiamo sentito parlare a sufficienza. Realtà spesso misconosciute, ma che iniziano ad esser diffuse sul territorio, in cui gli animali vengono lasciati liberi di vivere e pascolare in spazi ampi, curati e cibati con metodi naturali, dove il modo di allevare non incide negativamente sul pianeta e dove piante e animali di varie specie concorrono a mantenere la terra viva, per le generazioni future. Ho così visitato 8 aziende sparse nel centro e nord Italia, ognuna con le sue caratteristiche, dovute al territorio o alla tipologia di animale allevato, ma tutte che rispondessero a questi principi. Ne è uscita una storia di speranza e passione, che ho voluto condividere con mia figlia Gemma di 6 anni a cui ho affidato da elaborare coi suoi disegni una polaroid per ognuna delle aziende visitate. ANOTHER FARMING IS POSSIBLE!

"ETHICAL BREEDING means growing the animals in respect of their ethological habits, avoiding unjustified suffering". My research is born from the desire to show what is beyond the intensive breeding, often nothing but lager, we have now heard enough around it. Realities often misunderstood, but that start to be spread on the territory, where the animals are left free to live and graze in wide spaces, cared for and fed with natural methods, where the way of breeding does not negatively affect the planet and where plants and animals of various species contribute to keep the earth alive, for future generations. So I visited 8 farmers scattered in central and northern Italy, each with its characteristics, due to the territory or the type of animal bred, but all that respond to these principles. The result was a story of hope and passion, which I wanted to share with my 6 year old daughter Gemma, to whom I gave a polaroid to elaborate with her drawings for each of the companies visited ANOTHER FARMING IS POSSIBLE!
