Anihilament

The name of this project is "Anihilament" which in Catalan means loss due to lack of interest.

This work takes as a principal element the cultural heritage that there form the huts of dry stone. A construction in disuse nowadays but with a great inheritance of our past and as we have been evolving in rural areas.

The purpose of these constructions was to give shelter to the peasants who cultivated the field or made livestock, so it was also used as a shelter during the Spanish Civil War.

The motivation for this project has been, is, and will be documenting how this constructions so valuable both culturaly and socialy, that are being forgotten and abandoned through our fields.
