LOUISIANA SWAMPS AND MARSHES - THE FEWER THE BETTER

This series of seven (7) photographs depicts the Beauty of Nature, rather than the trashed-up Nature that can be seen from one's automobile while driving on freeways and byways in the wonderful state of Louisiana, USA.

The inverse of 'Trampled & Trashey” was selected because people seemed to be accustomed to litter, trash and trampled scenes. I wanted to show (remind) them of the way it used to be, so I chose areas accessible only by boat. These images – it is hoped – should stimulate the senses of the human brain to be a Positive Force in Nature … before it is too late.

“The Fewer The Better” in the title insists that the fewer people who invade these very important areas, the better off for all people who live around these areas. The swamps and marshes of South Louisiana are natural habitats/hatcheries for fish and shrimp that help make Louisiana the “Sportsman's Paradise” for residents and visitors alike. It is Everyone's Job to … KEEP IT CLEAN.
