I tried to capture the emotions inside –and around- a band of Roma musicians performing in the tramways in Geneva (Switzerland).

Right from the first images, my preconceptions about “Roma’s joy of living” transmitted by music felt apart.

This journey showed me a tough reality made of stress, necessity to maintain families by passing the hat around, and finally the lack of interest from a -sometimes- unwilling “audience”.
