Project Info

Sunday afternoon

Some stories begin with a coffee, others, with a blunt phrase: "I have multiple sclerosis"

Then we had holidays, trips, beers, concerts, walks around the city, exhibitions, laughter ... and yes, inevitably: punctures, days of weariness, visits frightened to urgencies, visits to the neurologist ...

Some of you will wonder: "what is multiple sclerosis?", In short is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system whose causes are unknown and still has no cure. It is not contagious, hereditary or mortal but is the second cause of neurological disability in young adults and in Spain affects about 47,000 people. It is mostly diagnosed in young people between the ages of 20 and 30 at the beginning of their vital and professional projects ... and occurs more frequently in women than in men (70% are women). Even so, the disease is still considered a rare and little known disease.

It is also known as the disease of a thousand faces and this is one of his portraits.
