Fragments of life

At 65 years of age, Elena shows the first signs of the Alzheimer’s disease.

Twelve years have since passed and the situation has been further aggravated by a cerebral haemorrhage that befall her two years ago, leaving her bedridden with the disease well advanced.

These times are alternated by long and motionless silences and sudden moments of mental clarity and small physical movements. Thus, granting us fragments of life.
