AFRICAN LIFE

... I've been listening, walking, alive and eating for ten years with the Africans in their lands.

I ceased to understand African reality after my first week in Tanzania because I realized that more to know and understand I wanted to justify the stereotype about African life.

Africa has taught me that the most important thing is to communicate the happiness of living and photography is the only instrument capable of showing the reality of feelings and life.

The daily encounter with these people has revealed to me the depth and spirituality of the African World in real life, but not in the etymological sense.

“African life” is a reportage that seeks on issues such as the identity, stereotype, masked and violent idea of the African world by investigating the real and everyday lives of Africans.

This is a job where every photo can be extrapolated because it singly tells a story and the link that every subject has with their own environment but as a whole tells us about the daily and industrious African life whose people have passed "from hoard to Facebook" in a few years, without psychological upheaval and without ever losing the depth of relationships in their daily lives.

The extraordinary thing about African society, which emerges in this reportage, is that so many crafts that in "civilized" Europe are primitive of the female world, in Africa they are not.

The purpose of African Life is to nail every single dictator into people's minds to change the general view of Africa, re-starting from a real conception of African identity.

“African Life” was made between December 2016 and February 2017.
