Ahuehuetes

The Moctezuma Cypress, Ahuehuete, from the Nahuatl "The Old man of Water" is a Mexican tree, the national one. This tree needs a lot of water to be able to grow, therefore it can't stand long doughts. Unfortunately, human activities have drained water bodies causing premature death to these trees. In semi abandoned places they have suffered from vandalism and being set on fire. This is a brief document in San Miguel Galindo, Querétaro.
