Venezia, Far from the Biennale

Just a few photographs to describe my feeling when I spent a couple of days in Venezia in the winter. Beautiful palaces, galleries and museums, a lot of tourists but also the sensation that the city's heart and soul was disrespected by the majority of the visitors. Is it a question of education, a question of money, a question of power ? I don't know, but I can ensure that the dream of ancient, wealthy, cultural and glorious days is staying alive and generates a lot of money in our present reality. But like the planet Earth, natural resources are not unlimited. Buildings and foundations needs to be preserved and restored to keep the infrastructure standing.
