Saigon, finally Me and You alone

Ho Chi Minh City (but I prefer, as many Vietnamese people, to call that city with his old name Saigon, is a name that doesn't reminds to the times of war), after dreamt that city for years, finally I meet "her" in all his beauty.

As many city of the usually called "third world", Saigon it's full of strong contrasts between richness and poverty fused in something that appears perfectly armonized.

In this short "reportage" of 8 photos I try to show the most of the aspects of this city, such as his new "richness", as you can see wandering throught the district 1, 3, 7, but also poverty such in the photos taken in a damaged and poor condominium locatet between district 1 and 2, a labirinth of corridors and small rooms surrounded by strong contrasts of lights and shadows.

A place that never sleeps and where you never feel alone, lost in great nights busy and crowded, but if you are in need of silence and peace is not hard to find quiet temples where is nice to contemple the strong religious culture of people
