In Bloom

Long-term project (2008-2012) about same-sex couples and children born thanks to Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).

Commenced in 2008, "In bloom" recounts the daily life of a few Italian rainbow families and the story of their travels in Europe, U.S. and Canada and their struggle to have their rights recognised in Italy.

The project, while referring to the Italian context and directly inspired by it, testifies the situation of LGBT rights in other countries through the journeys of the Italian families who got married abroad or have carried out the artificial insemination in Europe, Canada and U.S.

Curated by 3/3, the book on Italian families with same-sex parents has been published in 2013 by Postcart.

The project received the support of Amnesty International Italian section.
