Kamalapur Railway Station is the central railway station in Dhaka , Bangladesh . The station is the largest in the country and the most important terminal for transportation between Dhaka and the rest of Bangladesh . There are 47 local trains , 28 express trains and 24 inter-city trains going through the station , and normally around 50 trains a day .
Every day more than 1000 people passing here , both the passengers and people who make a living . Some are selling , there is also a begging There are lots of police and guards outside the station to control the area day and night, and this makes this station into a safe place for the homeless people.
