Purgatory for thousands of refugees - March 2016: more than 44'000 people are already trapped in Greece, a number ticking upward each day. In Idomeni refugees are being stopped from moving beyond Greece and have been languishing in the rain, mud, and cold with insufficient food and medical care while sleeping in small tents. Europe shows its dark side, refugees, mostly from war zones in Syria and Iraq, have saved nothing than their lives, are trapped in the cold of political realism.
