this park is mine

One of the things that strikes me most, now I live part of my time in Romania, is the

way people of all ages and cultures, pass large times in parks and similar outdoor spaces; these are social dwellings, belonging to everyone.

The cities are full of green luxurious parks, that invite summer and winter, to sit and chat, to read, to practise all kind of sports (one can find open-air fitness centres, jogging paths, artificial lakes with boats). These places are not only a green retreat, they have been and are for the last century also a relative stable refuge in a society that has passed (and is not free of it) years full of turmoil and social upheaval.
