BALKAN'S IMPRESSIONS

Balkan's Impressions is a series taken between December 2013 and January 2014. It was my first time here. A magnetic energy attracted me there since my grandfather started to talk me about his experience during the WW2. I was in the primary school when the former Jugoslavia became what it is now. In those years my grandfather also started to tell me about his experience (as prisoner) and the lands where he lived. With all the suggestions I went first in BiH visiting Sarajevo, Mostar and Jaice. Then Zagreb in Croatia and Ljubljana in Slovenja. This winter journey, wich takes less than ten days, was a discovery of tastes, sounds, visual experiences. Important was also to meet local people and interact with them sharing our own thoughts, sharing life and spent the time together.
