Let's put aside religion, politics, natural resources, profits, egos and the continuous manipulation by the media of current and past events in Palestine. All lives matter. I am haunted by what is happening in the Middle East. Innocent people are being killed and many people aren't even aware of the situation or realize how they indirectly contribute to it. I attended the Operation Protective Edge protest in Chicago and these are some photos I took while protesting myself. Amnesty International stated that the UN reported some 1,523 civilians, including 519 children, are among more than 2,192 Palestinians who died during the operation. I am hoping you will become more interested in what is happening in Palestine through my photos.
