Japan, Land of Contrasts.

Japan is today a popular destination for many anime, sushi or fashion lovers. The appeal of Tokyo, a city inhabited by millions with so much to see and experience, and the traditional Kyoto, following the steps of the Geishas – like in the movie, are what people mostly know about Japan.

But, after spending 4 months there I can tell you so much more about this country, its fascinating contrasts, and the amazing people.

I spent one month in summer traveling around the main island and three months in winter studying at university in the less touristic Niigata Prefecture, where I was able to collect incredible memories and examples of this land full of contrasts.
