The chosen ones

Very deep into the Amazon, there is a little forgotten village... but not to them. They have been called, and they live their lives to be ready when the chosen one returns.

The people in this village live in poverty, but with very strong integrity. The normality of our world - would be considered a complete luxury in their conception of life. No running water - no electricity - neither medical care... but... the attention given to education is remarkable - which shows the spiritual strength and vision of the leaders of the people of the village.

I was very fortunate to be able to witness the beauty and simplicity of living, of their generosity, kindness and acceptance. It created a force pulling me back - like a magnet - impossible to resist... to go back to help them finish the school for their children, improve the sanitary conditions, but most of all to help them having medical assistance.

Through my photography, I am trying to convey my wonderful & profound experience - in order to raise awareness & means in order to go back to contribute however much or little I can.
