The Great Escape

Despite all the adversities and restrictions that the pandemic brought with it, I was always motivated to enter the urban space.

The feeling of making the great escape has often been in my thoughts during the past 2 years of the pandemic.
To visualize this was of course also the goal of my photographic work and have contributed very, to the mastering of these difficult times for all of us.
Despite all the adversities and restrictions that the pandemic brought with it, I was always motivated to enter the urban space.
In the same way, I also wanted to escape into solitude to stake out my spaces just for me.
Not necessarily empty streets and people hidden under masks I wanted to photograph, but people and scenes that speak for themselves and this crazy time.
Body language and posture of people speak for themselves. The search for a place of relaxation and at the same moment the longing for closeness to others, I would like to express in my series"The Great Escape "
