Madonna del Sasso

A beautiful and charming sanctuary in Orselina, Ticino.

Just above the city of Locarno lies a sacred site, the sanctuary and pilgrimage church of la Madonna del Sasso, built during the XV century, after some Franciscan brother saw the Virgin Mary in a dream. The view is nice around Locarno and the lake, with the blue train adding some exotism to this Renaissance's architecture.
