Shade above tree

A neighbor said, "Since an old man cut away a branch of cherry blossom behind his house, his first granddaughter died. He just excused because of shade under the tree, my house couldn't get sunlight for laundry and I could see a devil above tree"

On 24th June 2008, a 77-year-old man, Yoshio Kiuchi has been arrested on suspicion of killing four members of his family at their home in Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture, Japan by bashing them with a sledgehammer, of which handle was about one meter long, and the steelhead was about 20 centimeters long. The victims are Kiuchi’s 75-year-old wife, Tokiko; his 49-year-old son, Shigeru; Shigeru’s 44-year-old wife, Miyuki; and Manami, the 4-year-old daughter of Shigeru and Miyuki. He was quoted as telling police, “I’ve given the “cold shoulder” by my family for a long time, and I did it because I thought I would feel relief if I killed all the members of my family.”
Since this incident, I have to understand it personally because his son, Shigeru used to be my teacher when I was 15 in junior high school. I could know the incident 1year after it had happened. Little by little remembering my memory which I met the smile of Yoshio, the criminal once when I was 15, I couldn't digest how it ended up to be. Because that family looked totally common and quiet.
To connect my memory stopped at 1998 to the current fact, I created “my story” from the fragments I had collected on site, where was still a remote community of my town.
