People from Vietnam
Capturing and telling with images the life of the vietnamese people. Proud, industrious, guerrilla, are just some of the many facets that capture the character of this people. A journey that starts from the delta of the river Mekong among the palm tree, the rivers and the scorching heat, to the terraced rice fields typical of the mountainous area around Sapa. Here you leave the undershirt to wear boots and jackets and the heavy fog which is often present, comes silent and dense, covering every thing in its passage and redefining spaces and shapes. A journey through a long and narrow country with over 3,200 km of coastline and 52 different ethnic groups. A cuisine, considered one of the most varied and refined of Indochina which alone would make a worthwhile trip. The variety and complexity of the country made it difficult to make a selection of eight images. The choice has fallen on each individual photo to the intrinsic message that it contains, which in my opinion, leaves a glimmer that allows to guess without having enough of the understanding, bringing the fascinated observer to so much cultural diversity to deepen knowledge of this country and its people.
